A 10 minute period at the end of the drying cycle slowly cools down the laundry load to further reduce the possibility of creasing. Even when the dryer cannot be emptied immediately, your garments will not settle or crease by virtue of automatic, periodic tumbling of the load for a minimum of one hour after the cycle has finished.
