Tilberedning

  1. Put oil and butter into the cast iron pan. Sauté chopped onions, sliced carrots, bay leaves and thyme. Cover the pan and braise for 10 minutes.
  2. After braising, stir in the flour, add the tomatoes and the hot beef stock. Finally, add the meat, which you cut into large pieces. Bring it all to a boil.
  3. Cover the stew and continue cooking in the oven.
